The world's largest instant messaging app, Whatsapp, has once again announced the closure of support in some phones.  According to the company statement, on 1 February 2020, WhatsApp will not work on the Android 2.3.3 version of WhatsApp and Android on iOS 7.  At the same time the company has said that its decision will not affect the number of users, because most users have a new phone.  The company said in a statement that Android's KitKat i.e. version 4.0.3 or above will support Whatsapp on the smartphone, but below this, smartphone users with lower versions will not be able to use WhatsApp.

Whatsapp will not run after December 31 in Windows phones.

If you still use WhatsApp in Windows Phone, you have bad news.  Whatsapp has announced that by the end of this year, all Windows Phone will stop the support of Whatsapp.  According to official information, WhatsApp will not work in any Windows Phone after December 31, 2019.  Please note that the company has stopped supporting Nokia Symbian S60 in the 30 June 2017, BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 on December 31, 2017, Nokia S40, after December 31, 2018.

However, it is not that Whatsapp will not run after the support is stopped in these phones.  You will be able to use Whatsapp even after the support is closed, but if a bug occurs then the company will not issue updates to fix it.  You will not get any new updates as well.
